12 Tungsten Bead Perdigon Nymph Selection – Guide-Selected Trout Nymphs
A dozen of our standard Tungsten Bead Perdigon Nymph patterns, selected for getting down quickly and catching trout in a variety of conditions. These are the same Perdigon patterns our guides fish regularly on the water.
Description
Capt. Ken’s Tungsten Bead Perdigon Nymph Selection includes one of each color pattern from our standard Perdigon collection. These streamlined nymphs are designed to sink quickly and reach the feeding zone without wasting time in the water column.
Perdigons are especially popular for tight-line and Euro nymphing techniques, but they are not limited to that style of fishing. Our guides regularly fish these patterns under an indicator, too. Their slim profiles and tungsten beads make them useful whenever you need to get a nymph down to trout holding near the bottom.
These are the same Perdigon patterns you see in our fly fishing photos and videos on Facebook and Instagram.

How to Fish Them
Fish Perdigons close to the bottom, where trout commonly feed on drifting aquatic insects. Use them as part of a tight-line nymph rig or fish them beneath an indicator. Adjust your weight and presentation to match the depth and current speed.
Capt. Ken’s Guide Tip
Getting your nymph to the correct depth is often the key to catching more trout. Perdigons are a dependable choice when you need a compact fly that sinks quickly and gets into the strike zone.
Add this guide-selected assortment to your nymph box and be ready for a wide range of trout fishing conditions.
